Loca x LoCo is a mixed media collage where "live laugh love" is prominently featured. Pineda titles this piece after her pets, Logo and Coco. She shows her appreciation for her pets and the moments she gets to spend with them by including silly pictures of some favorite moments of her pets. Since this is her last semester in her Bachelor's degree, Pineda gives thanks to her pets that have been there from the beginning and reminds herself that life is short and sweet.
Katalina Pineda was born in Metro-Atlanta in 1998. Pineda is self-taught. She does not work in any medium due to loss of passion. Her influences are Frida Kahlo and Takato Yamamoto.
