Polygons was created in Adobe Illustrator and uses various shapes to recreate a photograph of a friend. The work recalls how celebrities were turned into art during the Pop art movement in response to mass culture. However, instead of a celebrity, Morrison portrays a regular, non-famous person to show that anything and anyone can be turned into art, regardless of their status.
Luna Morrison is currently working on her Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design at the University of North Georgia. She has been creating art since elementary school. Her mother worked first as a freelance graphic designer and later as an art teacher. Morrison would spend most of the day attending her art classes and drawing constantly.
